The Barry Plant Group has been recognised yet again for excellence in customer service, with every one of the group’s 80+ offices* achieving Highly Recommended Status for Excellence in Customer Service in the Australian Achiever Awards for the 12th year in a row, and Barry Plant Wantirna taking overall first place in Victoria in the real estate category.
“We are delighted that all of our offices have achieved Highly Recommended status,” said CEO Mike McCarthy. “Ours is the only real estate group to have achieved this for 12 years in a row. To attain this consistently high level of customer service across an 80+ office network is a testament to the calibre of people in our group.”
In order to achieve the highly recommended status, a business must reach a score higher than 80%. Every Barry Plant office achieved a score higher than 85%, with 36 of those offices scoring above 98%.
The top office, and overall winner in the real estate category, was the Barry Plant Wantirna office with an outstanding score of 99.79%. This is the 10th time since 2001 that a Barry Plant office has taken out the top spot in Victoria.
Preston, Traralgon, Parkwood, Niddrie-Essendon and Mill Park-South Morang followed closely, sharing a five-way tie at 99.58%.
Since 1998, the Australian Achiever Awards have measured, recognised and rewarded the success of customer service delivery across a wide range of industries. Service standards are assessed via direct customer input and feedback, and the process has successfully helped businesses across Australia to measure and improve their customer service focus.

* Offices need to have been trading under the Barry Plant brand for a minimum of six months to be eligible to enter the awards.
